Welcome to the Town of Lynne!

Don’t forget to check our calendar and notices when you visit!

Some History:

The Town of Lynne is located in the southwest corner of Oneida County, bordered to the west by Price County and to the south by Lincoln County. Our eastern neighbor is the Town of Little Rice and our northern neighbor is the Town of Minocqua.

The Town is two sections in size and contains a large portion of the Willow River, Muskellunge Lake, Willow Lake, the south half of Pier Lake, and the western end of the Willow Flowage.

Though more than 80% of the land in Lynne is owned by the county or state, the Town maintains 80.76 miles of town roads.

Lynne’s history includes a period when logging great white pines was a booming business. While Tripoli once had more commerce than today, logging remains an important part of the area.
